Miguel studied humanities and cinema in Lima, Cuba, and Madrid, where he obtained a master’s degree in experimental and documentary filmmaking. He began his career as an editor in 2002 and as a director in 2010. As an editor he edited many commercials for television, subsequently included in some of the most important festivals in the world, as well as video clips such as Calle 13’s “Latinoamérica”and documentaries such as “When Two Worlds Collide,” awarded a prize at the Sundance Festival.
He also edited “Future Times,” a Peruvian feature film funded by Ibermedia. As advertising director, he is one of the most sought after in the Lima market. He collaborates with major agencies and brands in Peru and Mexico. He is currently developing his first fiction feature film. He works and collaborates with Palzom Films as director.
